Goutami Eye Institute is a registered not-for-profit organization established in Rajahmundry – Andhra Pradesh, India under the A.P. Societies Registration Act, 2001 during 2005. We are also exempted under Sec.12 (A) and Sec.80 (G) of the Income Tax Act.
We at Goutami Eye Institute, work with the goal of eliminating avoidable blindness and providing high quality ophthalmic care which is affordable and accessible to all, and ultimately educate the general public about the need for proper eye care and awareness about debilitating eye diseases.

Our Structure:
We are a not-for-profit organization registered under the A.P. Societies Registration Act, 2001 chaired by Dr V.K Raju. The other Members of the Governing Board are Mr. M. Siva SubbaRao, Mr. V.V. Kumar, Mr. Narayya Choudhary, Mr. Prasad Chundru, Mr. Tondepu V. Hanumantarao and Dr.Leela Raju. The day to day affairs are looked after by the MD Mr. V.V. Kumar and CMO Dr. Y. Srinivas Reddy.
Our Programs:
Out-reach programs to reach underprivileged, vision screening for school-going children, Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP), spread the awareness of eye donations under the banner “You live twice”, collection of corneas and training programs for professionals & support personnel.

Comprehensive Ophthalmology, Paediatric Ophthalmic Services, Small Incision Cataract Surgery, Cataract Surgery by Phacoemulsification, Strabismus as well as Nystagmus Management & Surgical Correction, Oculoplastic services, Comprehensive Vitreo-Retina services including Retinopathy of prematurity (ROP) etc.

25,000 sq.ft.of built-up area with 50 beds for inpatients including non-paid, paid, Dr. YSR Aarogyasri and EHS. We have the state of the art equipment that includes Centurion vision system for cataract surgery, Infinity vision system for cataract surgery, Hi-end microscopes Leica m822, Zeiss Lumera I, Constellation vision system for retinal surgery, Retcam for ROP screening, Zeiss cirrus 5000 Angioplex OCT, Zeiss cirrus HD OCT 4000, Clarus 700, Lenstar for optical biometry, Humphery visual field analyzer, GE 9100C Anaesthesia work station, Topcon fundus camera, etc..
